-Joey's Two Cents: The only real surprises for me were Fincher holding off Hooper and TKS hitting in both film categories...thoughts?

  1. As if there was any doubt this wouldn't be a very good night for The King's Speech...

  2. How good was Helena Bonham Carter's speech. I really don't think she should be winning this season but if she were to give a speech like that on Oscar night, she'd get my vote over Leo.

Also great for Fincher. We Social Network fans needed to see this to feel safer for Oscar night Best Director.

  3. She's the most likely challenger to Leo, just because she could get swept up in the tide of The King's Speech.

Fincher is definitely in the race...I'm not sure if he's the front runner again or not, but I do still think he might win in the end, regardless of Best Picture.
